Hard rock drilling
Granite, basalt and gneiss cut with DTH air-hammer rigs for straight, clean holes.
AquaBore is a drilling and water-solutions company run by geologists, drillers and pump engineers. We tell you honestly what the ground can give, then we drill to prove it.
AquaBore began in 2008 with a single second-hand rig and a rule we still follow: never drill a point we would not put our own name on.
Our first customers were farmers let down by dry holes. We learned that most failures were not bad luck but bad siting. So we hired geologists, bought survey instruments and started telling people the truth before the rig arrived.
Today the same habit runs through every job: survey, agree a price in writing, drill, test the yield and hand over a written report.
Explore Our ServicesOne truck-mounted rig and a two-person crew serving local farms.
Our first hydro-geologist joined, and every job began with a site survey.
Air-hammer rigs let us reach hard rock down to 1,000 ft.
We added rainwater harvesting and yearly pump maintenance.
Every customer now gets a digital yield report at handover.
The bar on each card shows the typical working depth for that kind of ground.
Granite, basalt and gneiss cut with DTH air-hammer rigs for straight, clean holes.
Sand, clay and alluvium drilled with rotary rigs and cased to keep the wall stable.
Wide bores for farms, villages and factories that need high, steady flow.
Compressor flushing, re-casing and recharge pits to bring tired borewells back.
Good results start before the first metre is drilled. We pair strong machines with instruments that tell us where to put them.
Truck-mounted, so they reach farms and narrow lanes.
High-pressure units for fast cutting and flushing.
Read underground layers to find water-bearing zones.
Inspect casing, cracks and blockages down the hole.
Flow meters that record what the bore can deliver.
Exact drill points logged for your records.
Six commitments we make on every job, big or small.
A qualified geologist picks your drill point, not a guess or a rule of thumb.
You get the rate per foot and the casing cost in writing before we start.
You see the depth log from the rig. You pay for what was drilled.
Certified operators work under a named site supervisor.
Workmanship and pumps are covered, with the terms on paper.
Most sites see a rig within the week, and emergencies get dispatched at once.
Tell us about your plot and your water needs. We will suggest the right method and give you a clear price.
